The Jamaican National Child Month Committee (NCMC) is encouraging 31 Days of Love in Child Month (May). During this time, adults are encouraged to show children that they care. The activities are in purple. My comments are in red. I hope you've been able to do some of this stuff with your kids since the start of the month.

May 2 - Ask children about themselves. Be prepared to listen to what they say.
May 3 - Hug your children.
May 4 - Talk openly with your child.
May 5 - Go to church with your child.
May 6 - Smile with your child.
May 7 - Apologize when you are wrong, no matter how challenging this may be.
May 8 - Praise more; criticize less.
