Although we’re at Z, I hope this isn’t the last time I see you. I have a couple of exciting announcements to make, but hang on to your hat, we’re coming to that.
Today, we’ll talk about zigzag and zest. A few short months ago, my life felt like an out of control car taking sharp left and right turns, kinda zigging and zagging. I lost my Daddy, then my Ma’am, which made me feel as if things would never get better. But then, I found out I had another mother and a couple of brothers too—long story, but you can catch up if you want.
Since the mother I didn’t know I had came back to the island, things are a hundred per cent better. I have zest, you know like that tangy stuff in the peel of oranges and lemons? But in this case, I’m using it to mean lots of energy and enthusiasm and excitement.
You know what I’ve learned on this Challenge? Things can seem really dark when bad stuff happens, but like Daddy used to say, out of every bad situation comes something good.
Thanks so much for keeping me company on the Challenge. Make sure you come back tomorrow for the start of Child’s Month. We’ll be tagging along for the ride with the Jamaican National Child Month Committee (NCMC) that will be encouraging 31 Days of Love. Stay tuned for that.
Meantime, my author and I will be doing two giveaways, so stick around for that, okay?
